Really good news on HIV/AIDS?

I've grown accustomed to bad news stories like falling like raindrops in a downpour. So I don't even remember how to assimilate the following possibility:

Read it for yourself but it says that Prof. Paul Savage of BYU may have hit the jackpot with Ceragenins. It appears that there is a chance that they may kill the AIDS/HIV virus. And they may be effective against influenza and herpes. No, it isn't April 1. It isn't confirmed yet either. But hey, this would be unbelievably great!
