I have been reading DailyKOS for some time now. I am politically a libertarian (but not the kind that hates poor people and the environment). And I am... absurdly upset over the state of America today.
It's my view that the theocratic, privilege-based junta running the country is an imminent threat to human life and liberty across the globe and want to know what I can do.

I give money when I can, but I am poor. I live in the middle of nowhere and work full time so volunteering seems prohibitively difficult.
The only way to help that I've been able to figure out is to talk to people. I'm intelligent and articulate with advanced technological skills and spend a lot of time on the internet.
But talking doesn't seem to be doing enough.
What else can I do? I know next to nothing about "activism" per se, but I simply cannot stand idly by and let murderous liars ruin everything I hold dear. I have to do something. And frankly, so do you. It's all of our individuals' responsibilities to right any wrongs we see, and there's a hell of a lot of them that I spy with my little eye. So where do I go from here? Does anyone have need of a guy in northern Illinois who can run a windows network, lift very heavy objects, and cream damn near any opponent in an intellectual debate? Where do I go from here?
In other words, does anyone know of any tea that needs dumping?
