I was shocked at the comments of Minnesota senator mark dayton regarding Sen. Russ Feingold's censure proposal.
I called his office and expressed by anger over his attack on Feingold and the very idea of going on record in criticism of the president. His poor staffer actually said she could understand my shock and disappointment. Perhaps she sees this the way most Democrats do. dayton, for those of you who don't know, is supposed to be a Democrat. You might think he would represent the two-thirds of Democrats that voiced support for censure in a recent ARG poll, but he has become so out of touch that he's worse than worthless. In other words, he's like most Washington Dems. He has been a tremendous disappointment as a senator and all I can say is I'm glad he isn't running again. He doesn't deserve re-election.
It is critical, however, that our senators hear from the majority of the country that has seen the reality of this administration. If you haven't called your senator, what are you waiting for? By the way, dayton's office is 202-224-3244.
