I'm always reluctant to post when things are going our way in the fight to remove Arnold Schwarzenegger from the California State House because I don't want anyone to rest on their laurels. We still have a hell of a fight on our hands come November and we have two relitively unknown, lack-luster candidates about to start a primary mud-sling-fest with each other. But there is a little good news in CA:
Arnold's faux move to the "center" by proposing an immense infrastructure bond measure failed to make it on the June primary ballot. It was basically blocked by his own party, WHEW, rather than by Dems.

Apparently some CA party members didn't get the White House memo that the GOP is no longer interested in fiscal conservatism, (http://www.usatoday.com/...) How embarassing for the local elephants.
So even though Dick Cheney's right-hand dirty tricks man, Steve Schmidt, is now running Arnold's campaign the locals aren't following orders, that is other than Secretary of State Bruce McPherson who recently okayed Diebold voting machines for use in California: http://www.mercurynews.com/.... Kevin Shelley may have been a slimey politician but at least he blocked the Diebold machines.
Sidebar - anyone registered to vote in a California precinct that uses unrecountable touchscreen voting machines should re-register permanant ABSENTEE http://www.ss.ca.gov/.... Then be sure to support Debra Bowen, Dem for Secretary of State http://debrabowen.com/. Here is some additional info about a new law recently passed in CA regarding verified voting

Anyway back to Arnold. The locals may be rejecting his "moderate" politics (givemeafuckinbreakmoderatemyass) but here's a group that loves to give him cash http://www.mercurynews.com/....
More to come in this adventure we call California politics.
