Masel for Senate release on Kohl PATRIOT Vote

I'm aware that simple posting of Candidate Press releases is discouraged, but I'll stick around to discuss.

In November, Senator Herb Kohl appeared to understand the dangers inherent in passing the Conference Committee draft of Patriot Act re-authorisation, backing Senator Feingold's filibuster efforts. A scant 3 months later Kohl votes for a bill with cosmetic changes.

While I could really use the health care benefits that comes with a seat in the United States Senate, and will benefit from Senator Kohl's vote today in the Primary election to be held in September, if the price is the destruction of our fundamental liberties, it's not worth it.
