Survey USA has their monthly poll on the nation's governor's out.
Some quick stats:
As Taegan Goddard over at politicalwire.com notes, the net approval for Democrats(+13) is slightly more than Republcans(+9)
-The top ten governors are split: 5 Dems, 5 Republicans. Once again it seems like the "red state" Dems and the "blue state" Republicans are doing well.
-6 of the bottom 10 governor are Republicans. Of the 4 Dems, one(Ted Kulongoski) is up for re-election this year.
-Some positive points for Democrats: The newest governor seem to be doing well. NJ Gov. Jon Corzine is at 51-36, and his ounterpart in Virginia, Tim Kaine, is at 53-33. Christine Gregoire also seems to be stabilizing at 47-46. Phil Bredesen of TN(up for re-election this year) also looks good at 56-38.
-Bad news for Democrats: Blanco's numbers are still ugly. Some southern governors, like Perdue and Riley, have improved. We have strong challengers to both, but the chances of us winning arent very good now, I dont think.
A question: An Kossacks know anything about Brad Henry and John Lynch? They have great approvals, but I dont seem to hear about them a lot.
