It is with great sadness that I note the ending of
The Illustrated Daily Scribble written by Charles Pubsley Fincher. This was one of my daily stops online and provided me with many a provacative chuckle at the expense of the insanity known as the Bush Administration.
I first found the Daily Scribble after visiting Thaddus and Weez. Sad to say, that had ended as well. But there are great scripts in the archives.
Editor and Publisher has the story.
'Scribble' Ends, Cartoonist Says Bush Admin. Hard to Satirize

NEW YORK Charles Fincher today ended his "The Illustrated Daily Scribble" political cartoon.
Why? "We seem to have a 'Groundhog Day' White House with Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld saying the same things and making the same excuses over and over, which can be creatively limiting to satire," said Fincher. "You'd think they'd consider a cartoonist's need for something new once in a while!"
Fincher has a new, thrice-weekly cartoon project called "Scribble-in-Law" on his Law Comix site. "It draws on my background as both a cartoonist and a lawyer," he said. "Its target audience is people involved in the field of law, though I hope others enjoy it, too. It's not political in content, but instead ranges from topical legal satire to somewhat eccentric humor."
Go visit the site and see what I mean. Take a look at the archives, you might find a great cartoon worthy of a T Shirt.
