When I heard yesterday that Bush was planning to make a quick trip to Pittsburgh to appear at a fund-raiser for Santorum, I had visions of outraged Pittsburghers lining the streets to give his motorcade something to reckon with.
I checked out the Post-Gazette and saw this brief story about his "opponents" protesting:
Bush opponents organized a demonstration in downtown Sewickley last night.
Left to right, Clara Murray, 9; Pilar Puyana, 10; Mary Torrance, 10; Claire Torrance, 7; and Allegra Menniti, 10, all from Sewickley, protest President Bush's visit to Santorum fund-raiser at the candlelight vigil took place at the corner of Broad and Beaver streets.
And then there was this very odd photo of Bush and Santorum by the Post-Gazette photographer, just crying out for the Dood Abides treatment...
