These five current and former justices of the Supreme Court played a major role in subverting democracy by installing Bush as president through the suppression of Democratic votes. Because of this, it could be clearly argued that these five (four currently living) people are responsible for what their action has caused, namely the deaths of tens of thousands in an illegal war and the additional crimes committed through torture and the abrogation of the Constitution as well as international treaties such as the Geneva Convention. Should these four living current and former justices be held liable, not only for their crimes against the Constitution, but for the war crimes that have resulted from their partisan decision to install Bush?
Republicans like Scalia and Thomas are always quick to talk about personal responsibility. Well, now it is time for them to look into the mirror and see the hell they have unleashed.
