I'm a big fan of the Truthout.org site and especially the writing of William Rivers Pitt. He wrote an article titled "How Crazy Are They? Tuesday 11 April 2006", that I felt I needed to comment on, so I wrote him a letter that I now share with you.
Dear William,
I've been thinking the same way as you have. They're not that crazy! They wouldn't launch a preemptive nuclear attack on Iran! They wouldn't dare!
But then I had one of those moments where the hair stands up on your neck and I envisioned what the real plan is. Now I'm really scared. More after the fold.
It has to do with Avian Flu epidemic preparations. I was reading a report on the drastic preparations being discussed to deal with an Avian Flu pandemic. These included some major, expensive infrastructure type things like increasing the bandwidth of the internet to accommodate more people working from home. And on and on.
At first this seemed sensible, but then the hairs started standing up. Wait a minute, these are the same people that left thousands to drown in New Orleans without a care. The ones that won't even spend money for proper body armor for our own soldiers. So why would they care about Avian Flu.
That's when it came to me. They don't give a damn about the Avian Flu, They're planning for Nuclear War. They're really going to make a "preventive" Nuclear attack on Iran, against all moral and international conventions.
Check it out. Go to any site, (or traditional media), where they are discussing "Avian Flu Pandemic" preparations and as you read replace "Avian Flu" with "Nuclear War". Now tell me it doesn't sound like they're preparing for the aftermath of Nuclear War.
Remember, the PNAC was full of people that thought, "Nuclear War is winnable", and now those same people are in control of our Military and our Nuclear arsenal.
God help us all if I turn out to be right about this.

P.S. I'm also concerned that Bush doesn't seem to care that his poll numbers are in the toilet. I fear that Karl has assured him that the country will rally around the President after he starts World War III. And, I'm afraid that he might be right.
