It is with much sadness that I now must throw my support behind posting The Ten Commandments at every government building. In fact, if the area is under Republican control, they should be posted in larger letters than in Democratic controlled areas. They don't want American judges looking to foreign laws, but they want these foreign commandments. So lets give it to them! This is why:
What part of "You shall not covet your neighbor's goods" don't Republicans understand? Or how about this regarding the Social Security trust fund: "If a man gives his neighbor silver or goods for safekeeping and they are stolen from the neighbor's house, the thief, if he is caught, must pay back double." Or this: "Do not mistreat an alien or oppress him, for you were aliens in Egypt." Or: "Do not take advantage of a widow or an orphan. If you do and they cry out to me, I will certainly hear their cry." "If you lend money to one of my people among you who is needy, do not be like a moneylender; charge him no interest."
In other words, who's interests would be harmed the more by the posting and enforcing of ALL of Exodus 20-23? Go read them, and tell me what you think.
