Sometimes prayer challenges as much as it comforts. Below the fold, you'll find more scriptural quotes on peace, this time taking us from the end of the Old Testament through Revelation. Some of these images might be uncomfortable or difficult, but I encourage you to pray* the difficulty. Stretch your hearts and learn the ways of peace.

For thus says the Lord: Do not enter the house of mourning, or go to lament, or bemoan them; for I have taken away my peace from this people, says the Lord, my steadfast love and mercy. -
