I don't live in Minnesota any more, but I still try and keep abreast of what's going on there. When I last checked, Jim Ramstad, Republican incumbent since 1990, had no opponent. I can understand why it would be hard to find a candidate. In 2004 Deb Watts only got 35% of the vote.
Today I checked the MN-03 page at the Fifty State Page, and saw that Wendy Wilde is listed as his opponent.
I really liked Wendy's show on the Air America affiliate AM 950, but apparently she is no longer on. Is this due to a run for Congress? Wendy's website merely says she is "exploring" a run.
Does anyone in the Twin Cities have any more information?
