WHO ARE WE? - We are a group of concerned Yolo County residents who are taking action against the Yolo County Tax Assessor's office.
WHY ARE WE JOINING TOGETHER? - Because we all share the same story, being illegally over-taxed on our property. In some cases, being taxed on property that does not even exist. The practice of randomly overtaxing new construction has gone unchallenged until now. We have banded together to publicly battle this illegal activity by the Yolo Tax Assessor's office that has gone on for years.
WHAT WE INTEND TO DO - As a group, we intend to state our case to the Yolo County Board of Supervisors, Yolo County Tax Appeals Board, the State Board of Equalization, our elected State Representatives and, if necessary, file a Class Action Lawsuit against the Yolo County Tax Assessor's office.

WHY SHOULD YOU CARE? - Whether or not you intend to build in Yolo County, you can and will be affected. We have found numerous cases of new residential construction that has been illegally overtaxed at extreme rates, to the point that many new residents have been forced to consider selling their new homes. The Yolo County Tax Assessor's office is also illegally overtaxing new businesses as well. This overtaxed burden will be passed on to you, the consumer.
WHY HAS THE TAX ASSESSOR'S OFFICE GOTTEN AWAY WITH THIS? - Because it has gone unchecked and unchallenged..until now!
