Sen. Kit Bond, R-Mo., a member of the Intelligence Committee's select NSA panel, said the legal counsel concluded that basic information, such as phone numbers dialed, is not protected under the Constitution's Fourth Amendment.
"For as long that I know of, the government has always had an opportunity to look at business records without a court order," he said. "Business records are not personal property."
Really? More after the reveal.
Senator Bond, is it your suggestion that published privacy policies are
not a contract with its sponsor's customers?
Is it your contention that every purchase I -- or you --make from any retailer is not proprietary to that company?
So you mean that your credit card company can turn over your purchasing history -- including late payment history -- to the NSA, without warrant, so that those you work with can account for your sex toy purchases, bar tabs, and prescrption medication bills?
Is it your intention that a doctor's files, kept in the course of his or her business, are available to the government without a court order?
Please tell me Senator Bond, iss this just the federal goverment that is allowed to breach the privacy of individuals -- against well-established laws -- or does this also extend to state and local goverments?
C'mon, Senator Bond, open up. If you really have nothing to hide, show us all the information that all businesses have collected on you.
Yeah, I didn't think so you lying, unpatriotic sack of criminal crap.
