It's horribly inefficient, and certainly not statistically valid -- but to answer the "young and inexperienced" charge from Klein aimed at the blogging community, we need a dailyKos roll call. With a quick age check, in a poll.
Please answer the poll to add your age to the roll call, then add a comment to answer the following:
1. Years active in politics, defined as doing MORE than just voting (walking precinct, working in campaign, attending party meetings, anything more than just reading and voting)
2. Current profession/job (if you want to share)
3. Current ed level (if you want to share)
4. Anything else you feel like adding
I suspect that the average age of active Kossacks is older than the pundits think, and that the level of activism is both high and recent. I also suspect that the variety of ed levels and professions will be pretty interesting, as well. I don't think we're all burger-flipping teenagers with no "real-world" experience, as Klein and others seem to intimate.
Finally -- if this gets over 200 comments, I'll try to collate them into some sort of report. Might even have to add the obligatory graph or two.
And finally finally -- please rec, just so we can get a good cross-section before it falls off the table. Thanks!
