In a
news release sent out today on PR Newswire, Young [Fascist] America's Foundation claimed that so-called "big government, multiculturalist, anti-military, liberal" speakers such as Gen. Wesley Clark [yes, somehow to this bunch Clark is anti-military and chicken hawks like Bush, Cheney, Rove and Limbaugh are pro-military], Sen. Bob Graham, Gov. Timothy Kaine and Al Gore's daughter dominate commencement ceremonies. They decry how their favorite propagandist and pin-up doll Ann Coulter has never been invited to speak at a graduation ceremony.
Foundation Spokesman Jason Mattera charged, "It's not surprising that the Left uses its stronghold on campus to give one last blast of the same old big government, multiculturalist, and anti-military message."
The group, whose alumni include the executive directors of anti-abortion group Texas Right to Life, the director of federal affairs for the National Rifle Association, the editor of National Review Online and a manager for Americans for Prosperity, also claims that campuses are promoting segregation through separate graduation ceremonies for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgendered students, as well as black students.
This is from the same group whose Internet site features photos of Newt Gingrich and other white people wearing fake grins on their smug, rich-ass faces as they think to themselves, "Illegal immigration is bad unless they are mowing my lawn or washing my S&M garb as I point my assault rifle at them."
Just look at this group's list of "liberal figures" speaking at commencements and try to see if you can pick out a SINGLE true liberal - they look like moderates to me: "Former President Bill Clinton at Princeton University, Archbishop Desmond Tutu at the College of William and Mary, Illinois Senator Barack Obama at Northwestern University, California State Assemblyman Fabian Nunez at the University of California-Berkeley, General Wesley Clark at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, former Florida Senator Bob Graham at the University of Florida, Connecticut Congressman Rosa DeLauro at the University of Connecticut, Maryland Congressman Elijah E. Cummings at the University of Maryland, Virginia Governor Timothy Kaine at Virginia Tech, former Virginia Governor Mark Warner at Wake Forrest University, Arizona Governor Janet Napolitano at the University of Arizona, Tennessee Governor Phil Bredesen at the University of Tennessee, Al Gore's daughter Karenna Gore-Schiff at Columbia University, President of the National Urban League Marc Morial at the University of Pennsylvania, and Los Angeles Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa at the University of California-Los Angeles."
See if any of these labels they give are actually TRUE: "The commencement roster also included self-described Marxist Gustavo Esteva at the University of Vermont, global warming adherent Ralph Cicerone at North Carolina State University, poet Barbara Reyes at the University of California-Berkeley, Rockefeller Foundation President Judith Rodin at the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Corporation President Vartan Gregorian at Stanford University, embryonic stem-cell research proponent Robert Klein at the University of California-Berkeley, racial preferences champion and anti- Western civilization professor John Hope Franklin at Duke University, and leftist activist Harriet Mayor Fulbright at Stevens Institute of Technology."
They claim that Bill O'Reilly, Rush Limbaugh, Ann Coulter, and Matt Drudge are "successful conservative media personalities." That might be true - if a "successful conservative" is defined as being a successful fascist bent on cementing an American empire. Their list of "conservative intellectuals" include Milton Friedman, William F. Buckley, Justice Clarence Thomas, who doesn't tie his shoes without asking Scalia how to do it, and Chief Justice John Roberts, who doesn't tie his without asking Cheney.
