Rick Penberthy (D), Congressional Candidate in Florida's District 5, is peddling himself as a "Grassroots Candidate" who got on the ballot via petition cards. Let me ask you, "Is paying a professional petition card gatherer deemed as 'grassroots'?" Mr. Penberthy is misrepresenting himself over and over in his campaign. He may call himself a "Fighting Dem" but can somebody who spent $60K of his own money in the 2004 Congressional election...and came in 4th place out of four candidates...beat Ginny Brown-Waite? I call this poor business management. Is being fined by the FEC for missing a deadline for filing a responsible candidate? We need to ask these questions...The proof is in the pudding!
