I just watched the oral argument before the New York Court of Appeals (High Court) on same-sex marriage in NYS and I'm pretty optimistic about the court doing the right thing.
I also just posted a similar comment over at Americablog, but I thought I'd come back home to Kos and see what all y'all are thinking.

May 30th Same Sex Marriage Oral Argument
Judging by Mayor Bloomberg's press statements and Bush's press conference--both mysteriously happening this weekend--I'm not the only one who believes New York will be next to recognize the right of lesbians and gays to marry. I'm very encouraged.
Anyone else see something happening here?
That being said, buckle your seatbelts for the major shitstorm that's coming if it happens.
