You know how the White House kept talking about how the War Cabinet meeting at Camp David would conference in the new Iraqi cabinet for a planning meeting?
Apparently, the President will be watching Camp David on video conference.
CNN is reporting that President Bush is in Baghdad, meeting with Maliki in person.
Could be a stunt, but it could also be a meaningful trip. Our success in Iraq (i.e., our ability to leave sooner rather than later) depends on the ability of the new Iraqi government to establish some kind of order. If the President's trip to Iraq can advance that cause, more power to him.
