I would like to add my perspective:
1) How many of the folks critical of Lieberman actually live in CT?
2) Shouldn't dailykos be focusing its efforts on defeating the GOP congressmen that are in close races with promising Dem candidates? Don't like the feeling that this primary is overshadowing those races, which it shouldn't.
3) How conservative is Lieberman really? He seems pretty reasonable. So what if he is a bit too bipartisan for your liking? I dislike Bush too, but you seem to be running with that photo of Lieberman embracing Bush a bit too much. He was the runningmate of Gore after all.
4) I don't think a primary is warranted in this case; Lieberman is not a criminal.
5) Unfortunately, this Lamont guy does not seem like a particularly promising primary candidate against Lieberman. He is not a former congressman, nor a former mayor, which there are plenty of in CT.
And for full disclosure, I have no ties to any candidate. And I went to college in Hartford. This whole debate makes dailykos seem awfully petty. Especially since in one breath you are trying to defeat Conrad Burns, and in the next trying to bring down a sitting Dem senator.
