I've been searching around the net for certain moments from the YearlyKos convention and am having some trouble finding the video clips I'm looking for. I hope someone can leave a link in the comments pointing me in the right direction.
Specifically, I need the Q&A with Barbara Boxer after her keynote speach. I'm finding her keynote all over the net, but they all cut out the Q&A period.
UPDATE 23 June 2006: A fellow traveler reponded to this thread and provided me with an MP3 of Senator Boxer's Q&A at YearlyKos 2006. See LongBeachPolitics.org for a transcript and a link to the MP3 at the Internet Archive.
I'd also like to buy a complete video package of the conference. If someone has the video backed up somewhere, please email me. I'd like to buy the DVD box set. =^)
Q: Why am I looking for Boxer's Q&A?
A: I asked her a question with serious implications for local politics and she nailed it. She gave us a sound-byte fit for TV commercials in this Republican-leaning district. LNG in Long Beach is an issue which crosses all political boundaries; it's a local issue that has the potential to activate people disconnected from federal politics: It resonates like a 200,000 lbs tuning fork.
I could blog her response from memory and my notes, but I'd really rather get it 100% right and post the video. Once I have the video, I can start getting Boxer's permission to have it run on local cable TV and in ads.
More generally: I'd love to buy the "YearlyKos 2006 DVD Box Set". With all the phenomenal panels I attended, I can only imagine what I missed. And, to be honest, there were a few I feel I need to watch over and over and over again to really absorb and internalize (e.g. the economics panel, the 21st century panel).
Please, if you've got leads, throw me a line. I'm drowning in the internet! (gasp!) (glug!)
