Turns out, some people still aren't aware that there's a War Going On. We've been talking about it for awhile now. Because, you see, 9/11 changed things. America can't be sitting around idly indulging in freedoms any more. Not when there's evildoers out there. Freedomhating evildoers. They aim to spread terror. Kill innocent people. Spread their ideology of hate.
We're here to protect you from those evil people. We know how to handle them. Do a bit of eavesdropping. Drop some bombs. Maybe an invasion or two. And it won't cost you much at all. A small price to pay, for freedom, no? All you got to do is keep on shopping. Flying them flags. Living that American dream. We'll take care of the dirty work.
But what we don't like, is people looking over our shoulders, while we work. We're professionals. We know what we're doing. And it's all perfectly legal. We just don't like it being made public. We don't think it's right, that a lot of other people should be sniffing into our business.
So why don't all of you just sit quietly over there, and stop getting in our way. And all of you news types, you especially. Sure you got freedoms, but we're the ones giving you those freedoms. We're the ones fighting evil. We're the ones who know what we're doing.
We don't need a bunch of reporters mucking everything up. Not when there's a War On. It's disgraceful, to be questioning us, exposing us, talking about what we're doing, when we're just here to protect you.
You think we like this business? Spending hundreds of billions on weapons and programs? You think we like having to sit through a bunch of PDB's every day? You think we like it, when they hide the WMD's on us, and we've got to go scrabbling around like kids in a sandbox for years?
Everytime one of you newspr*cks reports on something we're doing, innocent people die. Kids, probably. We were about 2 months away from mopping up this war, Mission Accomplished and all of that, and now, we're looking at another few years. Maybe never. Maybe they'll win. Cause of all you snoops, messing in our business. That's gonna cost you.
Let me make this very clear to you. Stop asking questions. You can have all the freedom you want, but go do it elsewhere. Stop mucking in our business.
Nice country you got there. Hate to see something happen to it.
