Luckily for me, YearlyKos was a timeless experience... because I've been anything but timely getting a piece put together. We are moving forward on other fronts however.
It has been interesting watching and logging footage showing a thousand energetic, optimistic, and patriotic convention-goers, while at the same time reading recent references to a bunch of disillusioned low-lifes. The video will put lie to that illusion.
Unfortunately, a buzz-saw of prior June/July commitments has probably pushed any edited video to early August.
In the meantime however, we're doing the following:
-Brian Keeler
I've sent Brian all the raw video of him at the convention. Hopefully he can use it in his campaign. His district is just upstate from my home base in New York City, and I look forward to pitching-in during the upcoming weeks/months.
-Momster
Ellie will be getting the raw footage of her experience in the next couple of days. Her family probably thinks she is spinning some tall tales. Wait until they see it actually happened.
-Street Prophets
For me, this group turned out to be an unanticipated treasure. Between the quilt booth and the prayer service good vibes abound. I'm not particularly religious myself, but it doesn't seem to matter with these folks.
I ended up with quite a bit of footage and am enjoying watching it, even in its un-edited state. While I will be using some of the footage myself, I thought they might want to edit together their own package. I've sent PastorDan a dub of the raw footage and hope that they enjoy it as much as I have.
More updates later...
P.S. Guido from Italy...I haven't forgotten your project.
