So I don't think that anyone that knows me, finds it a big suprise that I don't like Bobby Jindal and his being a Republican yes man for Bush/Cheney. I will show you here, what Jindal is really about. This is not a man that cares for his district, but cares for future positions he wants to attain. In his very own email updates, can be seen the very man that is wrong for not only Louisiana, but for our Nation. Jindal is all about self interest and rubbing shoulders with the likes of Bush, Cheney, and Dennis Hastert. This man does not care about anything but power.
I intend to show you, why The Katrinacrat Does Not endorse Jindal. Make no mistake about it, Jindal is a puppet for the pirates that have highjacked this country. The only viable route, is to put Jindal in the unemployment line where he belongs! So The Katrinacrat gives his support to Stacey Tallitsch for Congress. While I may not be in Stacey's district, I will try to get the word out, and let everyone know that Jindal is one of the many members of the Republican party that I wanna see outed in November.
First, lets take a look at Jindal through his own words:
These are from Jindal's own email updates. A link for each will be given, but you might have to scroll down to see the mentioned quote.

Best Seat in the House
I held the chair of the House last week, sitting in for the Speaker during the hours following votes, but before the close of session each day. It provided an interesting vantage point; both because of the raised platform, which allows me to gaze out over the whole of the House, but also because I was able to preside over a number of floor speeches by fellow members. In chairing the House for a full week, I got to hear the depth and breadth of the issues that face this country - and some fairly partisan statements to boot.
Yep, a freshman congressman being intoxicated by the power he dreams about. And the "partisan" comment was irony to say the least.

Salute the Flag
The American flag - Stars and Stripes, Old Glory - is a symbol not only of our country, but also of the freedom and democracy that is at the heart of our Republic. The House this week passed a constitutional amendment to protect the flag and honor its tradition. The amendment would allow Congress to pass legislation making it illegal to burn the flag. We already have laws making other forms of hate speech illegal - this would extend those laws to include burning a symbol of our country that is as much a part of our nature as the land on which we live. Forty-eight states have passed their own laws outlawing flag burning, including Louisiana, and all fifty states have passed resolutions urging Congress to enact this amendment. The bill now needs a 2/3 vote in the Senate before it can be sent to the states for their ratification.
It is acually just that, a symbol. Kinda like the Constitution, that the Republicans have raped! A piece of cloth or whatever material that the flag is made of, does not make the meaning of it go away. I would never do it myself, but burning the flag will not take the meaning, which is the real deal, away from us. Do you think that if the Constitution was lost in a fire, that it would no longer have meaning? Get a grip Bobby!

Picnic at the White House
My wife brought our daughter to Washington so we could attend a picnic hosted by President and Mrs. Bush and Vice President and Mrs. Cheney at the White House for Congressional families. We were thrilled to be invited, but I think my daughter was more interested in the junk food and carousel rides. Indeed, when she got the chance to take her picture with the President, she asked me if he was the guy giving out cotton candy. Leave it to a three year old to put Washington into perspective! There is, as always, more I could tell you about - like the Defense appropriations bill, which provides the support and supplies for our men and women in uniform and their families - but I won't take up more of your time.
Well, if you are gonna suck up, might as well go to the top! Are you sure she didn't say KOOLAID Bobby? After all, you did claim she put it into perspective!

The Power of Prayer
This past week brought another in a long line of attacks on faith and the faith community. A federal court ruled that the Tangipahoa School Board could not start their meetings with a voluntary prayer. I have already spoken on the House floor in support of prayer and this coming week I will introduce a resolution to do so as well. America is a country with freedom of religion, not freedom from religion, and so I am glad that the School Board has decided to appeal.
Almost like it was coordinated...
This week also saw another attempt by national liberals to attack provisions of a job training bill that includes faith-based groups. Their goal is to keep faith-based groups from helping in the effort to develop a competitive, highly trained workforce. They just don't get it. Faith is something to be encouraged and embraced, not shunned. I made the point in Committee and on the House floor that we must hold faith-based groups accountable, but that we should be discriminating for or against them. Our goal should simply be to invite people of faith to participate, and then select those programs that are the most effective.
Never fear, the liberals did not prevail.
Sounds familiar folks? Kinda sounds like Jindal is waiting for his high calling like Bush, and hoping to hear the same voice that told King George to go to war with Iraq! That freedom does include, not having religion or others beliefs crammed down our throats!
I will pick up on this, with the next part in this series. Bobby Jindal is so putrid to the core, that it will take more than one post to cover this. In the next articals in this series, you see that Jindal was so thrilled to go to dinner at the VP's house. Jindal has got to go!!
Cross Posted at The Katrinacrat Blog I am currently looking to send an invite to those people in Louisiana that wish to post on the blog. I will also accept those that are just wanting to out the Republicans, that are across the country. If you are interested, send me an email. There will be no one post a day here. If you got something to blast the GOP with, then by all means, post it. And make sure, if you get an invite, to link to any diary you put up here. Lets get the word out, that we want our country back.
