This administration opened the door and welcomed in the likes of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi. They created this man. By their actions, they created numerous reactions, including Zarqawi. Reactions that included "beheading, suicide bombings, and indiscriminate killings."
This quote from AP:Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld also tried to put it in context saying, "Arguably over the last several years, no single person on this planet has had the blood
of more innocent men, women and children on his hands than Zarqawi. He personified the dark sadistic and medieval vision of the future--of beheadings, suicide bombings and indiscriminate killings."
Yes Mr. Rumsfeld, Zaqawi was a horrible despicable human being, but a chain reaction was started by this administration. A chain reaction that this administration is accountable for. Your statement should apply also to this administration as having "the blood of more innocent men, women and children" on their hands.
First and foremost El Capitan Rumsfeld, I take issue with your statement "no single person on this planet has had the blood of more innocent men, women and children on his hands than Zarqawi." Try looking in the mirror Rummie, or better yet try looking at your boss Pres. Bush.
Through your and the rest of this administrations actions of invading Iraq, illegally, you guys most likely pushed a crazed lunatic over the edge. Add to that Pres. Bush's Texas, cowboy, shoot your mouth off, never fought in combat, of "Bring it on,""wanted dead or alive," comments, and you've got the right formula to set off an extremist the likes of Zarqawi.
Last week Pres. Bush did admit these comments were wrong, which was really nice of him, but you know sorry doesn't really bring any of the innocent men, women and children back, does it? You know what they say, excuses are like assholes, everyone has one.
Maybe the republicans can swallow all these lies, sir, but the buck stops with this administration, and the horrific crimes that are going on against innocent people, day after day, after day is unforgivable and disheartening.
