Yes, it's another Bill O'Reilly piece. But I just couldn't let this one get away. Cruising through "Sweet Jesus I Hate Bill O'Reilly,
http://www.sweetjesusihatebilloreilly.com/ I came across the following.
As many may know, the Big Falafal has been flogging the Jessica Lunsford case to within an inch of its life. Now I'm not saying it wasn't a horrific and tragic crime, but sheesh, Bill give it a rest. It seems that others agree. SJIHBO highlights an article by Anthony Violanti in the Star-Banner of Ocala, Florida, http://www.ocala.com/... .
There's more below the fold.
The article states, among other things that:
Ric Ridgway, chief assistant state attorney prosecuting the case for King, keeps a mannequin in their office dressed with a T-shirt that states: "Sweet Jesus, I Hate Bill O'Reilly" (the name of an anti-O'Reilly Web site).
The article also states that Ridgeway says:
"Going on O'Reilly's show is like wrestling a pig," Ridgway said, adding, "you get dirty, O'Reilly has fun and in the end nothing is accomplished."
Violanti also quotes Jessica's father Mark Lunsford, whose opinion of the Big Falafal is:
"I'm not impressed."
Violanti further quotes Lunsford as saying:
"I've only been on his show one time," Lunsford said, adding that the Jessica Marie Lunsford Foundation he heads, "never got a dime from O'Reilly. It bothers
me when he sells bumper stickers with Jessica's name on them, and the foundation gets nothing. I don't want to badmouth O'Reilly, but we could do more working together."
Go on Mark badmouth him, we do all the time.
If you hold your nose and go to O'Reilly website click on store, http://www.billoreilly.com/...
scroll down to Cars & Trucks you will find you can buy the following,
Jessica's Law Bumper Sticker | Jessica's Law BULK PURCHASE 10 Bumper Stickers | Jessica's Law Static Window Decal | Jessica's Law BULK PURCHASE 10 Static Window Decals
Now anyone who has watched the Big Falafal and heard him go on about the Factor Crap, oops, I mean Gear, has heard him say that all proceeds go to charity. It would seem to follow that is you are going to use someones name to flog your "store" and there is a foundation in that person's name, you might DONATE SOME OF THE PROCEEDS to that foundation. At least anyone with a conscience might think so.
So, Bill, O Great Falafal, just where are the proceeds going? Inquiring minds want to know.
