Because a change in the Middle East requires a change in our elected Representatives.
We can close our eyes and blame the Bush Administration, or we can examine our own candidates in solid blue districts and ask ourselves if the policies they support have brought us closer to peace in the Middle East, or if they have led directly to the current hostilities.

I sincerely hope that you will withdraw your support of HR4681, known as the Palestinian Anti-Terrorism Act of 2006.
This will cause great suffering and can only add to the resentment and misery in the Palestinian Community and exacerbate the conflict with Israel. Why on earth do this?
The United States should use its influence to promote a just and Peaceful resolution between Palestine and Israel and we need the United Nations to stand with us on the side of Peace. Cutting off funding to the UN and to the Palestinians is not going to further Peace or serve our goals for that region either
