I just received the following emails from the Cynthia McKinney campaign. Whether or not you agree with the Congresswoman's positions, we all agree that if she wins or loses her primary, it should be done on merit and not because of a rigged Diebold voting machine casting votes for her opponent when the put the "x" mark next to her name.
Here's the body of the first email:

DIEBOLD ELECTRONIC MACHINES MALFUNCTION, VOTE FOR OTHER CANDIDATE
(Decatur) After one hour of voting, the McKinney campaign has received numerous calls that the voting machines are malfunctioning. Voters casting votes for McKinney are reportedly having their votes switched by the machines for Hank Johnson. This is not a new problem with Diebold machines. Lawyers for the campaign have been alerted and said that If this situation is not corrected, Cynthia McKinney for Congress will be forced to take additional measures.
And, here's the second email I've received:
Just after the polls opened, numerous problems with Diebold electronic voting machines were noted. At one Rockdale precinct, reportedly a single Diebold machine malfunction affected the performance of the entire sequence of machines assigned to that precinct. Additionally, one machine didn't have a plug and sat idle. In addition, workers were not adequately trained on the use of the electronic pollbooks, resulting in unneccessary voter frustration.
When one McKinney voter realized too late that her intended vote had been switched by the voting machine to a McKinney opponent, the polling place official's response was "she needs to let us know next time before she casts her ballot." McKinney campaign officials want to know, what about this time?
A snake in the bush is easy to fight. But one already in the house becomes a problem!
Whether or not you care for Cynthia McKinney's way of doing things, her track record has been that of a progressive and a fighter, and because Diebold doesn't care about the democratic process being observed, we who post or read here at DKos, should care about our rights being subverted.
The fight to extend the provisions in the Voting Rights Act was led to prevent these very infractions from occuring. Now we know why a faction of southern congress critters fought to keep the renewal of the Act - because it directly affects their states - many of those states with the ugliest history of subverting the rights of Black people simply because of their ethnicity.
We saw this in 2000, and again in 2004. We have a sexual harassing, bread-spewing, frat-boy acting dry drunk in the White House as a result of Diebold. Please, please, do what ever you can to call national attention to this election and to force Diebold's antics out into the open where even the more illiterate kool-aid drinker will see that it needs to be stopped!
