As Kos has noted, activities in the final 72 hours before recent elections have propelled Republicans to victory. Isn't it time Democrats
used similar tactics in the final days? Plans need to be set in motion now.
Here are some suggestions:
1. Have at least 100 volunteers on standby who can "parachute" into contested districts to help get out the vote.
2. Have prominent personalities such as Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and Harry Reid ready to go into districts with close races.
3. Keep a stockpile of cash for last minute infusions into close races.
4. Have a national campaign on radio (and if possible TV) that broadcasts the same message across the country.
5. Use the Republican tactic of leafleting churches on the Sunday before election day.
6. Have teams of lawyers on the ground in questionable districts to challenge voting irregularities.
7, Have a Democratic October surprise.
