Paging Franz Kafka.
Have we got a problem?
I know I do.
For gosh sakes, here I've been wailing on Lieberman all over the Net, hoping this warmonger goes down in flames and I find out another war hawk is likely to replace him!
"The anti-Iraq War challenger in Connecticut's upcoming Democratic primary has issued strong statements backing Israel's military operations in Lebanon, but his campaign boosters are being painted as anti-Israel by supporters of Senator Joseph Lieberman.
Ned Lamont, a Greenwich, Conn., businessman who holds a slight lead in the polls over Lieberman, told the Forward that he supports Israel's current operations in Gaza and Lebanon, and that he disagreed with the European Union's declaration that criticized Israel's actions as a "disproportionate" response." -- Antiwar Candidate Backs Israeli Strikes
Folks,...
... it's not only 1984, what with Bush's spying on us and all, it' 1934, and we are the good Germans, I swear.
I'm going away now and cool off.
When I come back, maybe there will be a comment or two that will help me feel better.
God, I hope and wake up and find out the article is just a bunch of neoconservative claptrap.
Peace.
