One day Ned Lamont wins a primary and we're warned about voting for Democrats will bring back 9/11.
The next day, the British break a plot to blow up airplanes using liquids such as toothpaste and baby formula.
Is this a fear of flying or a fear of competition in political ideas?
Happy flying to all who must take to the air and hopefully our skies will be safer in a few more months.
But I would not be surprised to see 2006 from September to the first week in November as the time of threats. Bush and his backers will play on every fear we have ranging from the toothpaste we bring onto airlines to the tootpaste shared by same-sex couples in their apartments.
I hope I can hold my breath and think good thoughts throughout the process.
