Dean Baker of Center for Economic Policy and Research is at it again. This time with a list of recommended policy changes to reverse the decades-long "upward movement" of cash from the have-nots to the haves.
These are actual proposals that spring from his recent book for how Democrats could REALLY turn things around if they had a mind to - not your usual minor "corrections". It includes corporate reform to address pay packages, funding all drug research so patents aren't in the private domain and all drugs are generic (ouch!) and others.
I don't agree with all the proposals but it makes for some very interesting reading and I would think, interesting debate.
Any Democratic candidates want to take a bite and respond? Link is http://www.cepr.net/...
