Against all odds, Ned Lamont has come out of nowhere in the Sen-CT race, and is now leading by ten to twelve points in two recent polls. Our work is not done and our race is not won -- yet. We have to keep pushing through Tuesday to win the primary, and then prepare for a likely battle against Schmoe running as a candidate in his eponymously named "party."
This race is much, much more than just a battle for one seat in the US Senate. It is about restoring an accountability to voters that has been completely lost, not just by Senator Schmoe, but by many Democratic Senators and Representatives who have prostrated themselves before Shrubco and the Rethugnicans.
