Washington Post editorial page is neoconservative. It has a neoconservative (Fred Hiatt) editorial page editor.
Its op-ed page tilts conservative with such foaming at the mouth right wingers as George Will, Charles Krauthammer, Jim Hoagland, Sebastian Mallaby, Bob Novak, David Ignatius, Rob Samuelson and probably a few others that I am forgetting.
But apparently that is still not enough conservative opinion so the Washington Post has hired another conservative columnist.
We are supposed to believe that somehow this wall to wall right wing echo chamber will be "balanced" by timid centrists like EJ Dionne, the Uncle Tom columnist King and that loathsome liberal hater Richard Cohen.
WP editorial page is fast turning into the WSJ editorial page, a house organ for the GOP. This is not surprising when you consider that the Washington Post company has been getting contracts from the Bush regime for its Kaplan division. They clearly want to kiss the hand that feeds them.

Michael Gerson, a key member of President Bush's inner circle until 10 weeks ago, has a new job: Washington Post op-ed columnist.
Editorial Page Editor Fred Hiatt has signed up the longtime White House speechwriter and policy adviser, who will start in January while remaining a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
