I'll quit when we've restored the party to it's majority (Pre-Clinton) status. As long as we're being led by the hard-right (DLC e.g., Hill, Bill, Lieberman et al) then we might as well kiss off the DEMOCRATIC party and democracy with it.
I don't get how you can dislike Bush and are o.k. with Clinton when nothing Bush is original but instead, all were Clinton initiatives. Haven't you noticed! the absence of Republican criticism with respect to Bill's embrace of all their rightwing *politics!-- they're not looking a gift-horse in the mouth. Bush, Clinton are a continuity. For Bush to abandon Clinton's lead would be political suicide. I don't mind the hard right in their own ,Republican, party but as recent history has proved, when
they pose as democrats and take over my party they're infinitely more dangerous.
No knuckling up to the "Unity" sound-bite. We are not as Clinton often cynically observes, "All Good Republicans".
