Big Hospitals, Big Chem, Big Coal etc etc etc
purchased a presidency for their favorite son, Bush Juniahhh.
GWB was apparently the best they thought they could find. He was groomed through a few business failures and then propped into a sure fire high profile baseball franchise that took people's land through eminent domain.
Then he was stuffed into the weak-Governor's chair in Texas to finish off the image.
Just enough press to convince people that this loser knew what he was doing.
Big Business still loves George W. Bush.
And who could blame them. He went after the oil in Iraq and he still thinks he can pull that off in spite of escalating sectarian violence and a civil war threatening to burn out of control.
But he keeps on ticking like the energizer bunny, ignoring the mayhem and violence he spawned, while building those mega bases on the blood of our soldiers and Iraqi people.
Even though most of us see him frantically peddling his legs in the air jusr past the edge of the cliff he ran off.
This administration sent $9billion in cash over to Iraq --- where is it?
Corporate America's best choice for president has been "in charge" for 6 years and here's what we have to show for it:
Katrina
Iraq
$9 trillion federal debt
torture
renditions
failed energy policy
....
This NOvember the people get to pick who runs the Congress.
Now that corporate America has proven to everyone who can count to ten how bankrupt its policy choices and candidates are, there's absolutely no excuse for even the most timid of voters to bow to the corporate will. It's long past the time for new leadership in Congress and a progressive populist president in 2008 who can hold the geniuses of "Big Business" accountable before this country drowns in red ink and polluted water and dies of a broken heart.
