Is England our next target?
Sometimes I amaze myself.
Just a few days ago, I discussed the fact that New Orleans was obviously a breeding ground for terrorists and questioned the President on whether or not he was planning on sending troops into the Crescent City. I had the write idea but the wrong continent. At least for now.
I woke up this morning, turned on the old computer to grab the latest news, and find that while I slept, 16 people have been arrested in the U.K for planning, recruiting, or training for terrorist activities in at least two different schemes.
This follows so quickly on the heels of the last terrorist round up, when the terrorists were planning on using liquid explosives to down airplanes between the U.K. and the U.S, that it is quite obvious England has now become a rampant breeding ground for these killers of innocent women and children. After all, the polls clearly show that the citizens of the U.K. overwhelmingly disapprove of the war and Bush.
Since we know, because we have been told, it is better to fight them there than to fight them here....
London should begin planning for the Great Blitz again, only this time it will be billions of dollars worth of smart bombs.
It is obvious Bush, Rumsfeld and others knew it was coming. Look at the speeches for the last couple of weeks. Clearly, the uber-intelligent members of BushCo were trying to subtly warn us of the defection of our ally. In hindsight, all that talk of appeasement prior to World War II were hints that the Brits were once again acting in a manner that looked after their best interests at the expense of the rest of the world.
I bet what happened is that the notorious "Yo! Blair!" remark which occurred at the GB summit back in July was misreported by the Great Liberal Media conspiracy so ably reported by such journalistic heavyweights as Geraldo Rivera, Bill O'Reilly, and Rush Limbaugh. What Bush really said was "No, Blair!" a clear warning that the U.S. would not tolerate appeasement or the harboring of terrorists by the British. The remainder of the conversation, which was caught on tape, was obviously doctored by the conspirators of the same terrorist supporting Great Liberal Media. After all, look what they did with Photoshop and the picture of Katie Couric. Does anyone truly think tapes couldn't be altered, just as they were to show various members of BushCo assuring the public that Iraq did have WMDs and was involved in the 9/11 plot when clearly, as they are now telling us, they never said that.
This also would explain the incident between Bush and German Chancellor Angela Merkel. What looked like a slimy, inappropriate, frat boy attempt at a massage being met with revulsion by a world leader was in reality Bush giving a stern warning that the Germans had screwed up twice this century and been called on it by the Americans and they had better not let it happen again. Big Brother...whoops...I meant George W. Bush is watching you.
So all of you liberal traitors and nay sayers in this country get ready, the leaves on the Tree of Liberty are again sprouting and the scent of beef and kidney pie is in the air. We shall not wait for another British Invasion, nor shall we tolerate taxes on our tea. It is time we stop these Limey terrorists in their tracks.
Because, this must be real. It couldn't be a well timed event to heighten fears just in time for the November elections could it?
Nah.
As Thomas Jefferson, second only to George W. in brilliance and eloquence, said in the Declaration of Independence:

Jefferson just got it wrong about Congress declaring war. Obviously, the Prez knows best.
My only concern is that I ask the President to be careful of two things in this attack on England. The store Harrod's in London makes a mean turkey and dressing sandwich and I would hate to see it destroyed, and the Texas Embassy was always a welcome respite for weary tourists and it would be a shame to drop a cruise missile onto it. The rest of London...well, what can you say about a society that drinks tea without ice in it and calls cookies "biscuits", and biscuits "crumpets".
I say good riddance.
