In the past week I have seen President Clinton angrily stand up to Fox News,
Keith Olbermann show his indignation at the the right wing and the President in his special comment, and
Al Franken smackdown Tony Blankley on Hardball.
Wow!
These are the people that I want to be associated with. The measured calm taking that the Democrats have exuded is important, but its great to see people showing that they passionately care about the political direction of this country.
It's nice to see outrage at the mass killing, torture, and needless losss of life caused by this corrupt administration. I think sometimes we have become the party that doesn't appear to care about things. These kinds of emotional reactions reflect a strong conviction that anyone can relate to. Americans are fed up and they would like the chance to register their anger, rage, and indignation with the party in power. Democrats have truly become the voice of the people when they show these emotions.
I don't think we need to become the party of angry reactionaries, but passion is something that everyone can relate to and I am inspired by these recent displays of deep caring.
Wow!
We HAVE to take the House and Senate.
We HAVE to investigate election fraud.
We Have to prosecute corruption in our government.
We HAVE to bring our troops home alive.
Passion. Yes. Passion.
