The Diane Rehm Show is one of those rare talk radio programs with a brain. Ms. Rehm is a skilled interviewer and widely knowledgable. Her guests come from all over the political spectrum and she treats wingnuts with as much as respect as they deserve. Her call in portion is always entertaining and she has a national listenership.
10:00am EST Aviel Rubin: "Brave New Ballot"
Aviel Rubin, professor, computer science, Johns Hopkins University and author of a forthcoming book, "Brave New Ballot: The Battle to Safeguard Democracy in the Age of Electronic Voting"
The program is carried by many NPR affiliates and is available on line as well.

Brave New Ballot.
In 2004 Avi presented a paper at the IEEE Symposium on security and Privacy titled Analysis of an Electronic Voting System. The IEEE is the nerd equivalent to Daily/YearlyKos but a lot older. Diebold even responded to the analysis which Avi responds to as well (all are at the above page).
Of all the electronic voting critics and analysts, few can address the technical errors and omissions that Diebold systems have as well as Avi Rubin.
Time to read the book and tune in tomorrow!
