Josh Marshall and his crew have linked up to this piece by Laura Rozen over at Washington Monthly that addresses the excessive secrecy surrounding Dick Cheney's office. Check it out:

It seems as if we taxpayers don't have the right to know who we are paying, specifically who we are paying under the direction of one Tricky Dick Cheney. Nobody even knows how many people work for him.
Over at TPM, their suggestion is for some enterprising member of Congress to go out of their way to ask Cheney for a list of names of people on his staff. Simple question. Once Cheney refuses through some go-between, we could have a nice little confrontation that will make Cheney look even worse than he already does. And who knows, if he complies because Rove begs him to in order to shut people up, what riches might lie under that rug. This is a no lose situation for Democrats.
Let's talk it up! Calls and emails to representatives wouldn't hurt either.
