Great aritcle I read today that pretty much somes up what I am already feeling from this early all glitz no substance Presidential election season.
Stop trying to distract everyones attention from the real issues. I surely hope-at least the Democrats, are way beyond, race, gender, religion, hype and all this senseless trying to distort someones name or claim they went to a school that might invoke more fear in to people. Aren't we all tired of these games?
What are your ideas and plans?

"But we should be very clear: All indications suggest this is a big-money race being played out on the grandest of scales, and that means if your name is not Barack or Hillary you’d better find some way of setting the Democratic electorate alight – and sooner rather than later. Vilsack doesn’t just have to compete against the two frontrunners. The position of fall-back guy is being bitterly contested by everyone from Joe Biden to Chris Dodd to Bill Richardson – not to mention John Edwards, who is still clinging to top-tier candidate status.
This is a very different race from four years ago, when the establishment candidates were still too timid to speak out against the Iraq war. Back then, the perception among the Hollywood big money-donors was of a field of political dwarfs. Howard Dean was the only one to make a really big impression in the early going – precisely because he had the guts to denounce Iraq, denounce Bush, and reject the traditional strategy of big-scale fundraising and campaigning in favor of an Internet-aided network of grassroots activism and small-dollar donations."
All these candidates better start getting serious, stop wasting time and start giving us your plans on what, why and how you would do as President.
""When I ask the question – if you had to vote tomorrow, who would you vote for? – most of my friends aren’t even sure," says Donna Bojarsky, a Democratic political consultant who specializes in bringing candidates and Hollywood luminaries together. "Nobody would be crying over a President Clinton, or Dodd, or Biden, or Obama. Really, it’s an embarrassment of riches."
