I can't stand Ann Coulter, but I'm really glad that she came out and said that she wished that all Jews would be "perfected" by converting to Christianity. True followers of Christianity (those that believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven and that everyone who doesn't accept Him will go to hell when they die) try to act as if they respect other religious beliefs (they generally do not try and make it seem as if they respect atheism). Jews are people of faith... Christians have a deep respect for Islam... Give me a break... Christians believe that Jews that don't accept eventually accept Jesus will burn in hell for all eternity. Christians believe that Muslims will burn in hell for believing that Jesus was a prophet and not the Son of God. Let's give Ann Coulter credit for once. At least Ann Coulter isn't just beating around the bush. She said what many Christians truly believe, but will not say in public.
I know that many Christians don't believe that Jews and Muslims go to hell, but those are the Christians that pick and choose which parts of the Bible they want to believe. In my opinion, that is the best form of Christianity, even thought it isn't really true Christianity. Jerry Falwell (if he believed the things he said and wasn't just a total charlatan) was probably one of the most sincere Christians on the planet, despite the fact that he was not a very pleasant human being.
When I use the word "Christian" in this post, I will be referring to the Christians that believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven and that all other roads lead to hell. When I use the term "Christian" from here on, I am not referring to the Christians that believe that followers of Judaism do not go to hell.
I think that people have the right to be pissed off at Ann's comments on Donny Deutsch's show. What she said was pretty rotten, but why should Christians pretend to be outraged at Ann over her comment on Jews? Shouldn't all Christians want to see Jews be perfected and convert to Christianity? If the Jews don't do this, won't they all burn in hell forever? Isn't is disgusting that God's on chosen people would turn their backs on Him? Isn't blaspheming against the Holy Spirit the one unforgivable sin? Isn't Jesus the only path to heaven? Don't other paths just lead to hell?
Matthew 25:41, 46
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. ... And these shall go away into everlasting punishment. (This verse is actually controversial; for further reading check out John 8:24, John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5, Acts 4:12)
Why do Christians pretend that they respect other religions that don't believe that Jesus is the Son of God? For a Christian, wouldn't respecting Islam be similar to a scientist respecting an modern-day idiot's belief that the earth is flat (well at least the scientist doesn't necessarily believe that that person is going to hell for being stupid)? Christians believe that Muslims are all going to go to hell. Christians believe that all Jews are going to hell. Give Ann Coulter credit. At least she was being honest about her religious beliefs. Jews cannot be "perfected" if they don't convert to Christianity. They are going to go to hell. Jesus is the only way to get to heaven! And they try to claim that the atheists are the ones who are intolerant bigots...
Well to be honest, I'd have to say that I think that Christianity is a stupid religion. I think that Islam is a stupid religion. I think Hinduism is a stupid religion. I think that Judaism is a stupid religion. Honestly, I think all religions are pretty stupid. The difference between me and Christians like Ann Coulter is that I don't think that Christians or Jews or Muslims or even Zoroastrians are going to go to hell. I think when they die, they will go to the same place that I go (under ground). What's worse; believing that someone's religion is silly or believing that someone's religion will send them to hell forever because they've blasphemed the Holy Spirit?
George W. Bush isn't as honest as Ann Coulter is when it comes to religion. He says that when Jews, Christians, Muslims, and all other believers in a god pray to the same god. Well, if there is one god, all prayers are praying to that god. That is true. However, if Christianity is true, Jews and Muslims are screwed. If a Jew prays and the Christian God hears the pray, I don't think He's going to pay close attention or show mercy to that person on judgment day.
For once I have to applaud Ann Coulter. I hate the woman. I think her religion is silly and horrifying, but at least was willing to say what other Christians don't want to admit... they believe that Jews that don't accept Jesus are going to BURN IN HELL!!! How can a Christian respect religions such as Judaism and Islam that prevent people from finding salvation in Christ? How can a Christian respect a religion that causes its follower to burn in hell forever, because they refused to accept the sacrifice that Jesus made on the cross! Good for you Ann Coulter! At least you have the balls (yes, I literally mean balls) to admit what you really believe! To those who believe that Ann Coulter's comment about Jews was anti-Semitic:
If you believe this...well... doesn't that make Christianity anti-Semitic?
(I wouldn't say that. I'd just say that the God portrayed in the Bible is a prick...)
