The Republicans in the House introduced a resolution to censure Stark for his comments last week, but the Democrats successfully tabled it.
Stark then apologized for his comments.
I saw this on C-SPAN’s House coverage this morning. The Republicans introduced a resolution to censure Pete Stark for his comments last week about sending young people to Iraq to get their heads blown off, etc. The Democrats then called for a motion to table the resolution, and the resolution passed by a fairly slim majority.
