Obama just can't seem to accept the fact that his own health care plan doesn't cover every American. Today on New Hampshire public radio, Obama claimed that his health care plan would "provide health care to everyone."
Later, during the very same broadcast, he admitted that his plan won't cover every American:
So my emphasis is on making it affordable and if we make it affordable, which I intend to do, then the vast majority of people are going to then have health care coverage. Now, the argument they’ll make is there’s going to be maybe a handful of people who even if it’s affordable still won’t buy it. And my attitude is, you know what, I’m happy to consider a mandate once we get to affordability.
Experts believe that Obama's plan would leave about 15 million Americans uninsured.
Hillary Clinton's plan will cover every American:
"There is a fundamental difference between Senators Obama and Clinton on health care. Senator Clinton’s health care plan covers every single American. Senator Obama’s does not. Any health care plan that leaves 15 million Americans uninsured cannot be considered universal. And that is a very big difference." – Clinton Campaign Spokesman Mo Elleithee
