1. Family Fun on Halloween
Just because the Edwards family is on the road doesn't mean they don't get to participate in traditional fun on Halloween. Here is a picture and a video that you may not have seen to enjoy now.

looking to see what treats they got. Love the kids.

2. Release of the first TV ad for Iowa called Heroes
John Edwards is committed to fighting for the real heroes of America—the men and women whose hard work makes our country great, but who have no voice in Washington.
As president, John will stand up to the powerful interests and fight for our real heroes, including America's workers, teachers, veterans, soldiers, first responders, and the people of New Orleans.
I just love the way he and Elizabeth think about their purpose in life. The ad is worth seeing more than once.
3. Campaigning in South Carolina for Two Days

On Saturday he again stood by his earlier claim that Clinton has engaged in "double talk."
"What I did was to make it clear that from my perspective it's important for the next president of the United States to be honest and sincere and trustworthy given what's happen with Bush over the last seven years," Edwards said.
"And there was a lot of political double speak in the debate. I don't think you can be a candidate for change and say you're going to bring about change and defend the system."
Edwards' comments Saturday come on the second day of a two-day swing through South Carolina. On Saturday, he attended a fundraiser for state Senate candidate Bill Clyburn, the cousin of U.S. Rep. Jim Clyburn, South Carolina's only black congressman.
"He's straight talk," said Bill Clyburn. "And I endorsed him early on before many people knew him."

4. Edwards Returns to New Orleans
New Orleans, Louisiana – Today, as part of "American Heroes Week," Senator John Edwards traveled to Louisiana to honor the people of New Orleans who have shown great determination and commitment to rebuilding their city. Edwards was joined by supporters and other Habitat for Humanity volunteers in New Orleans’ Upper 9th Ward for a day of rebuilding the area devastated by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita.
"While President Bush continues to fail New Orleans, the American people and the residents of the city have not. Almost all of the progress that’s been made has been the work of the proud residents of the city and generous Americans, working without and often in spite of the federal government. These determined and courageous people are the real American heroes. Their perseverance should serve as an example to all of us of what is possible when we come together to build the America we believe in."
Edwards and his supporters joined other Habitat for Humanity volunteers in a build at the area known as "The Musicians’ Village." A project of New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity (NOAHH) conceived by award-winning musicians and New Orleans’ natives Harry Connick, Jr. and Branford Marsalis, The Musicians’ Village concept consists of 72 single-family, Habitat-constructed homes for displaced New Orleans musicians and other qualifying Habitat partner families. Its centerpiece is the Ellis Marsalis Center for Music, dedicated to the education and development of homeowners and others who live nearby.
Edwards was joined on his trip by five winners from a fundraising contest: Christi Foley from Cincinnati, Ohio; Mark Williams from Colleyville, Texas; Terence Davis from Malibu, California; Brenda Stone from Millwood, New York; and Sandra Campbell from Key West, Florida. Edwards Addresses Global Warming
By CAIN BURDEAU, Associated Press Writer
NEW ORLEANS (AP) -- Democratic presidential candidate John Edwards on Saturday called reversing global warming a "great moral test" and said the next president needs to stand up to industries resisting change.
"This is the great moral test of our generation. Are we actually going to leave this planet and America better for our children than we found it?" Edwards said at an environmental rally in New Orleans.
"Why have we not addressed the issue of climate change and global warming?" Edwards said. "I'll tell you why, no question about it: oil companies, gas companies, power companies and the lobbyists in Washington, D.C. We have to have a president who will stand up to these people."
Last month Edwards picked up an endorsement from the national environmental group Friends of the Earth Action.
He has become a frequent visitor to New Orleans. On Saturday, he spent time at a Habitat for Humanity site where homes are being built for displaced musicians.
