The Senate Judiciary Committee is meeting now and has already voted 11-8 to send Mukasey's nomination to the Senate Floor for confirmation. C-Span3 is showing the proceeding, and can be viewed here
I don't know how long this meeting will last or if all members will speak. So far, we've had comments by Leahy, Specter, and Kennedy. (Leahy and Specter remarks below in the comments). Leahy votes no; Specter has reservations and believes that it is Congress' responsibility to legislate whether or not waterboarding is legal. Kennedy opposed Mukasey's nomination. Hatch is speaking now.
Please no pictures; I don't know if we will need additional volunteers.
(Sorry for the shortness of the diary.)
