Used to think the difference between the blogosphere and the MSN was, the blogosphere used research to make their claims.
That has now been thrown out the window. Read the Atrios analysis of the Obama campaign.
Here is his idiotic comment. Obama expects to change things by melting the system with his charm.
Not that there is anything wrong with being likable, Kerry and Gore could have used some of that.
But Obama has been stressing how hard change will be since the first day of his campaign.
When he announced he said. I could stand up here and make all kinds of promises. Every candidate will do that. But I won't. What I will say, if you want change, it will take all of us working towards the same goals.
Does that sound like the Atrios BS line.
Obama could have made boatloads of money right out of law school. Instead he went into the worst neighborhood of Chicago and became a community organizer.
When he was in the Illinois Senate, he was chastised by the old guard by trying to get things done to soon. Instead of listening. He passed things like health care for minorities. Jobs programs for the poor. And got the police to videotape interrogations. Pretty important for a state known for putting innocent men on death row, and a city, Chicago known to torture suspects.
In townhall meetings in Iowa, People asked how they would be able to end the war. He could have said, elect me. Nope, he was straight with them.
We need to get more Dems in the Senate and House. Right now we don't have enough votes. We are going to have to work to get more candidates to vote to end the war.
Seems to me Obama seems to understand how much work it will take.
Atrios could have learned all this in five minutes if he knew how to work Google. But he would rather lie and smear.
So tell me the Blogosphere is different from the MSM. The line is blurring.
