Hillary has regained her double –digit lead in NH according to the latest CNN poll:
http://www.cnn.com/...
According to the poll: "Clinton, however, was named across the board as the candidate who could do the best job on every issue." Good news for Clinton, and I expect to see more good news as people start to make their minds up. However, another article in regards to Clinton really caught my eye and I find it to be very disturbing. The article basically talks about what we Clinton supporters have noticed over and over again...and that’s the relentless negative treatment Clinton has received from the media.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/...
I’ve stated on Kos that I have never seen one candidate receive this must bad press.. ever. Now I know Edwards or Obama supporters will say Clinton supporters are whining, but this article confirms what we have been witnessing and saying all along. In past comments I’ve stated how Obama is the media’s candidate, and this article clearly backs up that statement. I just wonder if the media actually did its’ job and really reported on Obama, like they have done relentlessly with Clinton, how well would he would be standing now. Obviously that’s not going to happen, so it is what it is and that is sad. I do not blame Obama though. I do however, believe that the lack of media scrutiny will eventually hurt Obama in the end; because when people get ready to cast their vote, final questions pop in their head...And one question about Obama will be: What do we really know about him? That is why in the Washington Post Iowa poll that came out today, this statement is so important: "Clinton's supporters, however, are the most firmly behind her. Seventy percent said they will definitely caucus for her in two weeks, while Edwards's and Obama's supporters were more apt to say there is a good chance they might change their minds. Moreover, 59 percent of Clinton's backers said they are very enthusiastic about supporting her, compared with 49 percent."
For Clinton to still be as strong as she is poll wise is amazing considering the unfair beating she has received from the press. The one thing I can say for the press, at least they are admitting their bias so the public can judge for themselves. Although I do imagine with just a couple of positive articles, Hillary would be ahead in Iowa and even further ahead everywhere else.
Two more things...Drudge is at again with a slime attack on John Edwards. If I ever see this man in person...well will just leave it at that.
Last thing...yesterday I was watching CNN interview Magic Johnson asking him why he was supporting Hillary Clinton...needless to say that has to be one of the more painful interviews I can recall. Just painful, but thanks for your support Magic.
