What have we come to as a people when the public discourse is reduced to this:

In case you can’t see the picture on your computer, it is a picture of a restaurant marquee that reads:
"I wish Hillary had married OJ"
There is no subterfuge here. We all know the exact meaning intended. Is this phrasing any less threatening or outrageous than if the writer had simply stated:
"I wish Hillary had been brutally murdered years ago"?, or
"I wish Hillary were dead!"
I think not. The public discourse we are currently witnessing is abominable. Where and when will it end?
